F.P. Jones may be the one currently sitting behind bars for Jason Blossom’s murder, but with every passing episode of Riverdale, it seems that the Blossoms are likely responsible for Jason’s murder. And this week, Cheryl will confront her parents.
From everything we have seen this season of the Blossoms, growing up in that family was hard on both Jason and Cheryl. But Clifford and Penelope always treated Jason better than Cheryl. He was being groomed to take over the maple syrup empire, and his parents were not pleased when he turned his back on the family.
Last week, it was discovered that the Blossoms somehow had the ring Jason proposed to Polly with. They also drugged Polly so she couldn’t spread that news around. But seeing her parents drug the woman pregnant with Jason’s twins probably made Cheryl reconsider if her parents had anything to do with Jason’s death.
The basic rules of TV would point to F.P. being innocent. Archie, Veronica, Betty, and Jughead will be working to prove he was framed. So, if F.P. isn’t the killer, the Blossoms look like the next most likely suspects.
